I just extended out contract 2 more years because I got a free month service. I have been with T-mobile since 2003. It has actually been longer I used to work for them in college. I also got a kick-en sweet monthly unlimited pan for super cheap. Cheaper than boost mobile. Now I need to upgrade the phones... Her is my dilemma $$$$$$.
Here is what I want...

I would need a 1st generation one in good condition and then unlock it for T-mobile.
Here is what I want through T-mobile... Blackberry 8900

The issue with this one is it is pricey and that makes a difference.
Here is what I think I am going to get...

The pearl is a good phone I have one and this one has a wifi upgrade and a better camera phone. The problem is that I have it and want something that has a faster web processor. Which brings me to the next question.
DO I REALLY NEED DATA?
I love that my email, calender and contacts auto update. I love that I get Google maps to find me and direct me. I love that I can browse for things I need in the moment. But do I need it? That is what I am wrestling with... If not then The pearl is just fine... Easy to use and convenient because I know it. But I have this phone for 2 years and want one i can really enjoy. I use my phone a lot.
That is what I am thinking about right now. What is your FAV PHONE?
I think there is a lesson somewhere in this mess of computer problems.
I should write a sermon on how to keep your joy while your computer destroys your priceless treasures.
I am so frustrated it makes it hard to concentrate. I am convinced that you are all either laughing at me or crying with me. Let me know if you have had similar issues?
I am ready to buy whatever computer works like my iron. My iron is simple. I plug it in and it works. I unplug it and it stops. Then again I would like to buy an iron that can play mp3S, look up 50 different translations of the bible and write a document on... that had a 17" screen on it. So maybe I would rather buy a computer that could iron my clothes? Wouldn't that be interesting? it would have to be a desktop because you wouldn't want that thing near your lap... lol.
OK... enough mindless rambling back to "Weak is Strong".
I am still trying to restore what was saved on my external hard drive. I think I maid a mistake. I picked up a fire wire so it would go faster but I think I was supposed to formate it or something. I am just smart enough with this computer to mess things up.
Well I will let you know if I can restore the pictures and files that I think I lost.
We will give you an update soon.
SO far so good. It took the whole day and I have yet to migrate everything back on the computer from the portable hard drive but... So far so good. It seems to run faster. I hope that stays the case. We will see. I think that in the next six months to a year we are going to be at this again. But until then
I have a working and paid for computer! Yeah. Now it is on to bigger and better projects, like Dinner.
