I am a big fan of live music. I am a big fan of technology. This is an awesome example of the two in perfect harmony. 

I wonder if I'll find Olivia in her room on her iPad or iPhone writing music someday?

Olympic Fever...

E and I are HUGE Olympic fans. So much so we are starting to get a fund together so we can go to an Olympics in the future. 

Here are a few reasons I love the olympic...

• Its Global! Their is something about an international get together where countries you've never heard of get to tell their story through their athletes.
• Its not really about the medals. To be an Olympian is an honor that far surpasses the bliss of being a medal winner. Just to compete gives you a platform for the rest of your life.
• Its a blast to watch people at the peak fo their mental and physical abilities. You see people push mind, body and spirit to the edge and sometimes beyond. At this level the difference between gold and bronze is found in the mind. Most average non Olympians never push themselves to the brink to find out what they are made of. 
• It is a celebration of God. Every sport is a tribute to God. Our ability to master physics (Gods Laws), Human physiology (Gods Handy work) and the elements (Gods Creation) all points to both the beauty of God and the fight of man to push ourselves to new levels.
• Watching people push the edge makes us feel ALIVE! We don't feel the fear of living at the edge enough. We were meant to live on the edge far more often than we actually do. When we see the Olympians on the verge of wreck and ruin it makes us feel more alive! We live their story if only for a brief moment. Maybe it calls out to us to live our own better story and push ourselves a little further than we thought we could go.
