We have been partnering in prayer with a family who used to attend High Point before their job transfer occurred last year. Their son was diagnosed with having cmv as a fetus. Their are numerous problems that were happening including swollen brain, enlarged heart, fluid on organs. The mom was at church last year when I talked about worry. She told me the story and that the likely hood of a normal and healthy child was zero, we prayed and she went home encouraged but still unsure if her child would make it or to what level he would be abnormal.
At another checkup the doctors noticed that the swelling in the brain began to go down and retested for CMV. They say it was a false positive because the child didn't have CMV, I believe the Lord touched him. Then the heart began to show signs of healing. I just received this email today...
"We are excited to announce the birth of our son, Timothy Jacob Lee. He was born Friday, January 30th @ 2:10pm. He weighed 5lb, 13oz. We are blessed that he is healthy and doing great. Thank you for your prayers and support during our pregnancy. God heard every prayer and answered every prayer. "
They are doing more tests, but the child is healthy and God has shown his power once again that he heals the broken.
