I love holiday. I like to get away. The stress of family and strange beds and funny foods is worth it. Here are the reasons why I love the Hoidayz...
- You see people you love and who love you for nothing more than because you are related.
- You get to eat the yummy things you remember from your childhood... like "Chocolate Pie" and "Clara Hall Cake".
- You get out of your daily routine and have time to reflect and process things with a different view. Often you get to talk about life with your family and they give you great insight.
- God speaks to me when I am away from home. That is why Love to travel. (I am personally being rocked in a few very exciting ways.)
- You realize whats important when you watch your child interact with their Grand and Great Grand Parents.
- You take a ton of pictures and can compare year to year how fat or skinny you have gotten. I look to prove that next year.
- You give gifts and and receive gifts. That never gets old.
- You make memories and then share them with one another until you see one another again to make some more.
Go make some memories tomorrow. Talk about what God has doing in your life this year. Talk about how good He is and how those who do not know him in your family are missing out. Share and talk and laugh. Let the weight of life pass away and simply be in community with those who love you.
