I Love Easter Weekend!

This last weekend was an amazing time! I felt buzzed from Saturday night and am still feeling it today.

The message was prepared the music and team was ready the place was looking good.  People showed up. It was our second largest attendance in church History! WOW! Courtney and I went back and forth on the Lenny Kravits tune but I am so glade we did it. It said what I wanted those who were dealing with sin to Hear. We had a lot of old faces come back and even more new faces join us. I had a lot of fun speaking.

As I left the Theatre several people said... "I think your getting better..." That is good because I never want to stay the same or stop growing and stop communicating at a higher level each week. I heard that people were crying throughout the message and others just thought I was really funny. It is all good to hear. To be honest with you some weeks I barely am able to see because of the lights. So i imagine and ask the lord to show me how to and what to say.

We had around 10 hands go up that wanted to pray a prayer of salvation... I love that! Huge day for us! Now it is our job to help people take the next steps towards a relationship with him. we are all developing our faith.

We had a bunch of people over for Sunday lunch. The Ham was awesome and I was sleepy so I think there must be the same drug in ham as in Turkey.

I watched the Big Give and may have an idea with it for a series someday soon... We shall see. 

Then O and E and I went up to Alexandria to spend some time with E's sister and parents and for me to have a study break to prepare for this next series about "GOING GREEN". It has been a good trip but Olive got sick day 1 and was up most of the night that night. Then we slept most of day 2 and up again all night night 2 then we took her in to get checked... Her first Ear infection... I am all about firsts... First tooth, first steps, first doll but I was not excited about her first ear infection!

I have a great Idea for this series and am a little sleep deprived but with one more night to go am really glade to have gotten away even if O was sick.  Retreat is the best medicine for creativity. You can not expect to be fresh and creative if you are drained and constantly giving... Look through the bible and SEe how God rewards those who work hard and rest hard. He supplies there needs. I need a good word on Sunday and i feel like He is supplying it.
