My computer is not up to the challenge anymore. I am maxing out its memory it is slow and I want it to do things that it tells me it can not. I feel like I am driving a stick in traffic. So I am trying to fix the computer I have. The church has had a lot of equipment expenses this year. I would say more than normal but something tells me that being mobile means we will have a lot of equipment expenses. Especially with winter about to take hold of our electronics. That being said I just don't want to spend money on a computer unless I have to. But my productivity is being effected and I am frustrated.
So... today I am going to attempt a scary thing... I am going to restore my computer back to factory specs. That means i am deleting everything except what it came in the box with. SCARY!
I have backed everything up and am going for the kill in a few minutes.
Pray for me. If this does not work I am going to need to come up with another plan or buy a new computer. Which leads me to a whole other conundrum... PC or MAC?
Wow, that's scary....
About your PC or Mac question, that's like the one million dollar question.
I've been doing some research about it because I'm also asking myself the same and this is what I think:
What are your needs? Macs are great for creative stuff (music, photo manipulation, video)
For anything else PC it's the way to go.
